Floating Assistant Director (Cosmetology School) - Bloomington & Spring Lake Park, MN

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Floating Assistant Director to join our Empire Beauty School team in Bloomington, MN Spring Lake Park, MN! This position will be based out of our Bloomington campus, and will travel to support our Spring Lake Park campus as needed. As the second-in-command, the Assistant Director works closely with the Executive Director to support the day-to-day operations of the school and help create an exceptional experience for both students and co-workers.

The Assistant Director provides leadership across Admissions, Education, Student Services, Financial Aid, Career Services, and administrative functions while supporting enrollment, retention, graduation, student success, and operational goals. This role helps lead, coach, and develop the school team, monitor performance, implement company initiatives, and ensure the school operates safely and effectively.

The Assistant Director also serves as a key resource for students and co-workers, provides management coverage when the school is open, and helps maintain compliance with company, accreditation, state licensing, and regulatory requirements. Building strong relationships with employers, schools, community organizations, and other partners is also an important part of the role.
