Part Time - Simulation Lab Assistant

Job Summary

The Simulation Lab Assistant is a staff member who, in conjunction with the Simulation staff, has responsibility to organize the learning experiences that take place in the Simulated Clinical Sessions and Skill Laboratories. The Simulation Lab Assistant position involves collaboration with faculty and staff to assure the environment of learning is ready for students and faculty experiences.

Principal Accountabilities

Organize, maintain inventory, and monitor lab supplies and equipment for classes to be taught in the Skills Laboratory and Simulated Clinical Sessions Prepare and clean up lab areas and classrooms for lab experiences Prepare beds in simulation lab classes, including laundry and stripping beds Assemble equipment for Clinical Simulation Lab “Skills Kit” Flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the department Aid with practice sessions for students by organizing supplies and equipment. Assist simulation team with maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment and simulators as assigned.

Perform selected other duties as assigned by the Director of Simulation and Clinical Labs.
