PLUMBER M

Under general direction, the purpose of the position is to perform skilled to advanced craft-mechanical plumbing work in various installation, repair, maintenance and service tasks for the school district. Employees in this classification function with considerable independence and latitude concerning methods, materials, and priority of assigned work orders. Work areas include, but are not necessarily limited to, fixtures, water and wastewater lines, lift stations and treatment plants, portable hook-ups, lavatory systems, and new construction.

Position coordinates assigned project schedules in a manner to minimize disruption in school district activities. Performs related work as directed.
