Legal Counsel

Join Ketryx, a fast-growing B2B startup in Boston, as their first Legal Counsel. In this role, you will build and scale the legal function from the ground up, providing strategic legal guidance to support the company's rapid growth. You will handle a wide range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, risk management, legal operations, and external counsel management. This is a unique opportunity to be a founding legal expert at a dynamic company.

• Legal Expertise: Juris Doctor (JD) degree and an active member of the Massachusetts bar
• SaaS Acumen: Strong working knowledge of legal issues specific to the SaaS business model, including licensing, data security, and service level agreements
• Strategic & Collaborative: A trusted partner to all levels of the organization, capable of translating complex legal issues into clear, actionable business advice
• Hands-on Operator: The ability to be a "department of one" and handle a wide variety of legal challenges with autonomy and sound judgment
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA regulations, HIPAA, and other compliance frameworks relevant to medical devices and life sciences
• In-House or Startup Experience: 5+ years of relevant legal experience, with a preference for in-house experience at a high-growth SaaS, MedTech, or Life Science company
