• Lead team-level technical strategy and execution on multi-quarter time horizons, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Utilize AI to build, optimize, and maintain software systems, driving innovation and efficiency in software development.
• Collaborate across disciplines to understand our domain and iterate on projects, fostering a strong team culture and knowledge sharing.

• Experience leading teams of engineers with demonstrated impact on technical strategy
• Able to learn quickly and mentor others
• A generalist software engineering mindset ready to learn new languages, frameworks, and techniques required for a fast paced startup environment

• Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance
• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Demonstrated ability to build complex systems using AI coding agents (we use Claude Code)
