Software Engineer (Vice President)

Join iCapital as a Vice President Software Engineer. In this role, you will design, build, and operate services that power the iCapital platform. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and technical partners throughout the development lifecycle. The position requires a strong understanding of cloud application development, distributed systems, and experience with modern programming languages.

• Concevoir, construire, tester, déployer et maintenir des services et des API basés sur le cloud.

• Understanding of cloud application development and distributed systems
• 5+ years experience building or integrating with APIs and backend services
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to plan work, refine specifications, delegate tasks, and validate implementation quality
• Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases and data modeling
• 8+ years experience with a modern programming language such as Ruby, Scala, Python, Java, or TypeScript
• Familiarity with automated testing, version control, and modern software delivery practices
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
