Contributor Experience Manager (Community)

• Spearhead initiatives connecting expert contributors on the platform, ensuring engagement and satisfaction.
• Manage communications, execute virtual campaigns and events, and develop strategies to grow and retain the contributor base.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and ensure cohesive messaging across the contributor journey.

• Can use SQL and/or Claude Code to derive insights from data (or wants to learn, quickly)
• Minimum five years of experience in communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, or project management
• High ownership orientation with a willingness to execute operational tasks directly to achieve successful outcomes
• The ability to synthesize complex details into accessible, digestible content
• Proven experience managing active, large-scale communities (thousands of members) on platforms like Slack, Discord or Discourse
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, finance, or a related field
• Experience managing at least one direct report and holding them accountable to outcomes
• Exceptional communication skills, with writing that has flawless spelling and grammar, is clear, concise, and tone-appropriate
• Passion for building positive, engaging community experiences
• A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and adapt strategies accordingly
