Strategic Finance Lead

Join Iru as a Strategic Finance Lead, where you will shape the company's financial strategy and support its growth. This role goes beyond traditional FP&A responsibilities, requiring you to translate complex financial information into clear recommendations and develop compelling materials for senior leadership, the Board, and prospective investors. You will evaluate capital structure and financing needs, create investor-ready materials, own financial modeling and scenario planning, lead core FP&A processes, partner with senior leaders, support strategic initiatives, and strengthen the strategic finance function.

• Shape the company's financial strategy and support growth by evaluating debt and equity alternatives, capital structure, financing needs, and fundraising scenarios.
• Develop investor-ready materials, create rigorous presentations and analyses for prospective investors, the Board, and senior leadership.
• Build and maintain integrated financial models that assess operating plans, investments, hiring, growth opportunities, capital needs, and other strategic scenarios.

• We need a strategic finance leader who can own core planning and performance work while also helping leadership make critical decisions about company capitalization, debt and equity, capital structure, and potential fundraising
• The ideal candidate brings exceptional financial judgment, rigorous modeling skills, and a deep understanding of how investors think
• Private equity or venture capital
• Investment banking
• A background that combines two or more of the following is strongly preferred; candidates with experience across three or all four will be especially compelling:
• Management consulting
• Excellent business judgment and the ability to move comfortably between detailed analysis and executive-level communication
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company strongly preferred
• In-house strategic finance or FP&A
• A proactive, resourceful approach and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where the priorities are high stakes and the path forward may not always be defined
• Meaningful hands-on FP&A experience and the ability to operate across both strategic and recurring finance responsibilities
• 6+ years of experience across strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or a related analytical discipline
• Experience developing executive-, Board-, or investor-facing materials, with an ability to turn detailed analysis into a concise and persuasive narrative
• Strong command of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, valuation, and capital structure analysis
