Senior Manager of Financial Reporting

Join Chime as a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, where you will lead external financial reporting, including the preparation of public company filings and statutory reporting. You will be a technical resource for the broader accounting organization and have ownership of the processes and controls behind the numbers that go to the market. • Excellent interpersonal, time and self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver against hard filing deadlines
• Experience with intercompany and statutory reporting
• Demonstrated ownership of stock-based compensation accounting
• CPA preferred, with deep working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations (Regulation S-X and S-K)
• Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve accounting workflows, such as drafting documentation, analyzing large data sets, or automating repetitive close tasks
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 6 years of accounting experience. Big 4 public accounting preferred
• Phenomenal teammate with a positive attitude that embraces change, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills
