Senior Software Engineer (Stream Integrations)

Join Cribl as a Senior Software Engineer (Stream Integrations) and be part of a remote-first company that values diversity and innovation. In this role, you will develop features that integrate Cribl's data stream processing engine with various data systems, rapidly build expertise in third-party technologies, and collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and UX designers. You will also contribute to the company's community and documentation efforts.

• Develop features that integrate Cribl’s data stream processing engine with various data systems.
• Rapidly develop subject matter expertise in a diverse set of third-party technologies to facilitate the R&D process.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain clear, concise, and robust code that produces the desired outcomes for customers.

• Experience with authorization and authentication standards such as Oauth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP and SAML is a plus
• Demonstrated experience integrating with third party applications, libraries, and APIs
• Comfort with significant research and discovery before coding begins
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems
• Experience interacting with and building on cloud based platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc
• Experience with Agile processes and rapid iterative development
• Demonstrated ability to build robust systems in the face of uncertainty
• Experience with using and developing REST APIs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to explain complex technical topics to both internal and external stakeholders with ease and in remote/distributed environments
• Strong sense of ownership with focus on high quality and high performing deliverables
