General Counsel

Join TickPick, a fast-growing ticket marketplace, as our first in-house General Counsel. In this hands-on role, you will build our legal function from the ground up, managing legal strategy and execution across the company. You will lead negotiations of partnership agreements, manage litigation and disputes, oversee regulatory compliance, and support M&A and strategic transactions. Additionally, you will partner with the People team on employment matters and equity administration. This is a unique opportunity to shape the legal landscape of a dynamic and innovative company.

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant legal experience with a combination of law firm and in-house counsel experience required, with a minimum of 3 years in-house. Ideally as the senior or sole lawyer somewhere lean
• JD and active bar membership in good standing (New York Admission, out-of-state members will be required to join the NY bar)
• Ability to manage outside counsel efficiently and effectively
• Ability to operate independently and build an AI native legal function from the ground up. Hands-on experience with legal ops tools and AI or automation to improve legal throughput and consistency
• Experience in a role with broad legal and compliance scope in a lean or early-stage environment
• Demonstrated experience in regulated industry, commercial contracting, and cross-functional counseling
