Chief Information Security Officer

Join Thrive, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions, as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In this role, you will work with our vCISO Service clients to assess their current Information Security Program and develop a business-aligned strategy for proactive cyber risk management. You will ensure all governance, regulatory, and compliance obligations are addressed from an Information Security perspective and serve as a trusted advisor for Senior IT and Executive Leadership. Additionally, you will develop annual strategic plans, collaborate with internal IT resources, create remediation plans, conduct annual risk assessments, coordinate penetration tests, and assist with security incident response.

• Collaborate with clients to assess their current Information Security Program and develop a business-aligned strategy.
• Ensure all Governance, Regulatory and Compliance obligations are addressed from an Information Security perspective.
• Serve as Information Security Subject Matter Expert for Executive leadership, developing annual strategic plans and supporting project roadmaps.

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Expert in security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, CMMC, HIPAA/HITECH, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001/2
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in cybersecurity (MBA preferred)
• 5+ years’ experience Information Security Preferred
