Senior Variable Compensation Manager

Join Crusoe's Total Rewards team as a Senior Variable Compensation Manager. In this role, you will provide strategic and operational support for our variable compensation programs, lead end-to-end administration and governance, analyze program effectiveness, and collaborate with various departments. You will also have the opportunity to explore and pilot AI and automation tools to enhance our processes.

• Participate in the strategy, design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of traditional and non-traditional incentive programs.
• Lead end-to-end administration and governance of incentive programs including drafting plan documentation, modeling, achievement calculations, validation, and payout execution.
• Analyze program effectiveness, cost, and performance outcomes; proactively surface insights and recommendations to leadership.

• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheet software and experience working with large datasets
• 7+ years of compensation experience, with a mix of startup and large tech company experience. Fast paced startup experience preferred
• Experience with presenting and influencing senior leadership preferred
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with end-to-end ownership of incentive programs including design, modeling, and administration is a strong plus
• Ability to navigate data integrity issues effectively in order to produce reliable dashboards and analytics
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and present recommendations to diverse audiences, including senior leaders
• Deep knowledge of incentive-based compensation programs
• Modeling/forecasting experience
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
• Experience working with senior leadership preferred
