Technical Accounting Manager

Join Crusoe, a leading company in the energy and infrastructure sector, as a Technical Accounting Manager. In this role, you will lead technical accounting research, provide financial reporting oversight, and formulate and implement company-wide accounting policies. You will be the subject matter expert on complex transactions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations. The ideal candidate is a licensed CPA with deep technical expertise and strong research and writing skills.

• Lead the research and evaluation of complex transactions, including debt/equity transactions, consolidation, lease accounting, revenue recognition, and other topics.
• Prepare clear, comprehensive technical accounting memoranda documenting the Company's conclusions and compliance under US GAAP, and present the related accounting considerations to leadership.
• Coordinate and engage with external auditors on the review of technical accounting positions, consolidated financial statements, and new accounting standards.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment
• Six or more years of total accounting and audit experience
• Deep technical accounting expertise in US GAAP, SEC reporting regulations, and SOX internal control frameworks
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required
• Strong critical and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop and implement practical solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Industry experience in energy, infrastructure, or data centers
• Familiarity with accounting for project finance, joint ventures, or other capital-intensive structures
• Experience leading the implementation of a major new accounting standard (e.g., ASC 842, ASC 606)
• Direct experience drafting MD&A or other SEC narrative disclosures
• Experience at a large public accounting firm (National Office or technical accounting group) or with a large corporate filer
