Founding Account Manager (Data Partnerships)

Join Gener8 as a Founding Account Manager, Data Partnerships. In this builder role, you will own the commercial relationship with key customers, drive retention and expansion, maximize customer value, and build the account management motion from the ground up. You will work directly with sophisticated companies across AI, technology, finance, and data, and have a direct influence on retention, expansion revenue, product strategy, and company growth.

• Own the commercial relationship with Gener8’s most important customers, driving retention and expansion.
• Deeply understand how customers use our data, identifying opportunities to improve adoption, outcomes, and ROI.
• Help define account planning, QBRs, customer health, renewal processes, expansion strategy, and forecasting.

• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity
• Strong relationship builder who can become a trusted partner to senior stakeholders
• Proven track record managing and growing large enterprise accounts and driving meaningful expansion revenue
• Strong understanding of data products, analytics, or digital ecosystems
• Excellent communicator, comfortable working across technical, commercial, legal, and executive teams
• Experience owning renewals and commercial negotiations for high-value, complex contracts
• Highly commercial - able to balance customer success with identifying and closing expansion opportunities
• Builder mindset - you’ve operated in early-stage or high-growth environments and enjoy creating processes from scratch
• 5+ years of experience in account management, data licensing, strategic partnerships, or complex enterprise relationships
• High urgency and high standards
