Account Executive (New Business, Data Licensing)

Join Shutterstock's Data Licensing division as an Account Executive, New Business. In this role, you will drive net-new customer acquisition and generate revenue across high-potential markets. You will own the full sales cycle, from targeted prospecting to negotiation and contract execution. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of closing complex data or enterprise technology deals and thrives in fast-paced environments.

• Develop and execute outbound and inbound strategies to source, qualify, and close net-new business across AI, technology, and enterprise sectors.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline through targeted prospecting, multi-threaded account engagement, and relationship building with senior stakeholders.
• Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed agreement, including discovery, value articulation, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing.

• Experience selling into technical audiences (AI, engineering, product, data science) a plus
• BA/BS required
• 8–10 years of experience in B2B sales, enterprise sales, or data/AI licensing, with a strong focus on new business acquisition
• Strong understanding of data, APIs, AI/ML workflows, or enterprise SaaS solutions preferred
• Proficiency with modern GTM tools (Salesforce, Outreach, intent data platforms, ABM tools)
• Demonstrated success in prospecting and pipeline generation within large organizations; expertise in multi-threading required
• Excellent communicator, negotiator, and storyteller who can inspire customer confidence and clearly articulate value
• Highly structured, self-motivated, and metrics-driven; thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quotas and closing complex, high-value deals
