Collections Specialist

Join SmartBear, a leading software quality company, as a Collections Specialist. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, drive timely payment through organized collections activity, and partner with various teams to improve collection processes. You will also analyze accounts receivable aging, resolve payment issues, and maintain accurate records of collection activity. • Gérer un portefeuille de comptes clients et conduire proactivement le paiement en temps voulu par le biais d'activités de recouvrement organisées et professionnelles.
• Utiliser l'âge des comptes clients, les données au niveau du compte et un jugement éclairé pour prioriser les risques, résoudre les problèmes de paiement et soutenir le reporting AR.
• Collaborer avec les équipes de vente, de licence et d'autres équipes tout en améliorant les flux de travail de relance et les processus de recouvrement pour augmenter l'efficacité.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to independently manage a portfolio of accounts, competing priorities, and follow-through
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with comfort working with aging reports, account-level data, and issues that require investigation through resolution
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a continuous-improvement mindset focused on finding smarter and more efficient ways of working
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and persistent approach to customer follow-up and strong cross-functional relationship-building skills
• 3+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar customer-facing financial role; B2B collections experience is preferred
• Experience with ERP, billing, accounts receivable, CRM, or customer account management tools; experience managing automated dunning processes or collection workflows is preferred
