Director of Revenue Accounting

Join SOPHiA GENETICS, a pioneering company in data-driven medicine. As the Director of Revenue Accounting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting for our global operations. You will lead SEC filings, support the consolidation process, and maintain robust accounting policies and internal controls. Additionally, you will draft technical accounting guidance, partner with external auditors, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a strong background in accounting, experience with SOX 404, and knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP.

• Assurer l'exactitude et la conformité des rapports financiers pour les opérations mondiales de l'entreprise, y compris la direction des dépôts auprès de la SEC.
• Diriger la conception, la mise en œuvre et la gouvernance continue des politiques, systèmes, contrôles et procédures de comptabilité des revenus à l'échelle mondiale, en conformité avec l'IFRS 15.
• Servir d'expert en la matière pour la reconnaissance des revenus, en fournissant des conseils autoritaires sur les transactions complexes et non routinières.

• Experience with SOX 404 and internal controls over financial reporting
• 10+ years of experience in public accounting serving publicly traded clients and public company work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Project management including consistently establishing and meeting timelines
• CPA candidate preferred
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
• Experience Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities
• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry experience preferred
