Senior Director of Product, Security & Privacy

Join our team as a Senior Director of Product, Security & Privacy. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Security, and Go-To-Market teams to ensure our products are designed, built, and delivered in compliance with applicable laws and aligned with our risk tolerance. You will act as the primary legal partner for product and engineering teams, advise on open-source software usage and licensing, provide guidance on privacy and data protection matters, support product-led go-to-market initiatives, monitor emerging laws and regulations, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior product and engineering leaders.

• Act as the primary legal partner for product and engineering teams, advising on legal issues throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on privacy and data protection matters, and partner with Security, Trust, and Compliance teams on incident response.
• Monitor emerging laws and regulations affecting enterprise software, AI, data, and cloud services, and translate them into practical guidance for product teams.

• Strong working knowledge of:
• Privacy and data protection frameworks
• Open-source licensing concepts
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience, with a significant focus on product, technology, or commercial matters
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance for technical and non-technical audiences
• JD or equivalent law degree; licensed and in good standing in at least one jurisdiction
• Software licensing and SaaS models
• Experience supporting enterprise software, cloud services, or developer-focused products
• Familiarity with database technologies, developer platforms, or infrastructure software
