Job Description

The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Training Support Analysts serve as an integral member of the CDD Early Childhood Learning Network (ECLN), working closely with CDD Home Visiting team and the Early Childhood Network/FIT team to support statewide professional development for New Mexico’s home visiting and early intervention systems. This position will coordinate the planning, implementation, and ongoing support of virtual, in-person, and online trainings.

Responsibilities include managing training logistics, registration workflows, participant communications, training materials, and learning platforms; conducting pre-session technical checks; and providing real-time support to trainers and participants during live sessions. The position will also monitor attendance and continuing education requirements, troubleshoot technical and access issues, maintain accurate training records, and assist with data collection, documentation, and contract reporting.

The Training Analyst will help ensure consistency and quality across training activities by documenting technical issues, identifying recurring challenges, and recommending improvements to training processes and participant support. The position requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple activities within established timelines and funding requirements.

The role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines, strong interpersonal communication, and the capacity to respond effectively to the needs of trainers, participants, and statewide partners. The successful applicant must be able to work collaboratively with diverse constituencies across New Mexico and contribute to a professional, inclusive, and responsive team environment. This position is based at the CDD in Albuquerque and requires in-town travel and occasional in-state travel, including overnight stays.

A valid New Mexico driver’s license and successful completion of the UNM Driver Safety Course is required.
