Senior Software Engineering Manager (Test Infrastructure)

In this role, you will lead the Software Test infrastructure team, develop critical testing capabilities, and collaborate with various partners to align the team roadmap with Muon's priorities. • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers responsible for building and maintaining testing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to anticipate testing needs and develop world-class testing capabilities.
• Manage team capacity, staffing, and growth, including hiring, coaching, and performance development.

• Significant experience developing in languages such as C++, Python, or TypeScript
• Strong communication skills, and comfort working with cross-functional stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience managing effective testing teams and testing programs
• BS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• Proven track record managing teams building and maintaining reliable software tools
• 5+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams building production systems
• Accomplished history of hiring, training, and promoting software engineers
• Extensive experience with software project resource estimation and scheduling
• Familiarity with statistical analysis methods
• Familiarity with failure analysis methods
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop software testing
• Experience with Software-in-the-Loop simulation testing
• Knowledge of manufacturing test automation and assembly process automation
• Experience building interactive reporting tools
• Familiarity with space industry technology, terminology, and practices
