Job Description
Join the Financial Times, a leading business news organization, as a Podcast Summer Intern. This paid, ten-week internship offers hands-on experience in audio journalism and production, with a focus on the FT's flagship daily podcast, the FT News Briefing. Candidates should have a strong interest in multimedia journalism, good writing and editing skills, and an interest in finance and business news.
- Researching and pitching audio story ideas which draw from the full range of FT coverage: business, finance and culture.
- Gathering tape and archive audio to bring stories to life, coordinating and recording interviews with FT journalists and other guests.
- Producing and editing elements of the FT News Briefing, with guidance from its team leader.
