Product Manager

Join Exa, a small but impactful product organization focused on driving user growth, developer adoption, and successful product launches. As a Product Manager, you will own the strategy and execution for new products that extend the core Exa search API. You will work directly with strategic customers, define success metrics, and partner with various teams to launch platform capabilities. A strong technical background and excellent written communication skills are required, along with 2-8+ years of product management experience.

• Strategize and execute the development of new products that extend the core Exa search API to address new use cases.
• Collaborate with strategic customers to understand their needs and ensure the successful implementation of product features.
• Define metrics and success criteria to guide prioritization and measure the impact of product extensions.

• Excellent written communication
• Strong technical background - CS/EE degree, production engineering experience, or equivalent depth earned on the job
• A willingness to work directly with engineering teams by reading code+specifications, testing integrations directly and building prototypes with AI tools
• Preferred: Early startup or founding experience + technical PM experience
• 2 – 8+ years of product management experience building technical or developer-facing products
