Mechanical Engineer (Advanced Product Development)

• Lead hands-on prototyping and verification testing of subsystem designs, driving instrumentation, data collection, and data analysis for system-level validation builds.
• Own the design of components and assemblies for volume manufacturing, running and analyzing trials to inform specifications and future design direction.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to execute ambitious product development processes on tight timelines, translating breakthrough electrochemistry and system requirements into mechanical designs.

• Experience with prototyping techniques and working in a lab environment
• Exposure to writing, executing and analyzing test plans to make data-driven decisions
• Experienced using CAD to design parts and assemblies
• Strong heat transfer, fluid dynamics and mechanics fundamentals
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Bachelor's with 1+ years experience in mechanical design, or Master's with research or professional engineering experience
