Risk Management Intern

Join Metropolis as a Risk Management Intern and contribute to our mission of elevating risk acumen. You will generate and implement loss models, participate in strategy meetings, review insurance documentation, assist in creating loss control material, conduct research, and prepare informative reports. This internship offers valuable experience in the risk management field and the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment.

• Contribuer à la génération et à la mise en œuvre de modèles de perte et d'analyses pour réduire le coût total du risque.
• Participer aux réunions stratégiques et préparer les données pour les renouvellements annuels de polices d'assurance.
• Effectuer des recherches en compilant et en analysant des données sur la gestion des risques, et fournir des recommandations.

• The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree concentrated in Risk Management & Insurance or a related field
• Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes
• Strong academic performance required, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0
• Experience working with data, interpreting the results, and making recommendations
• Ability to work in our downtown Chicago Office for 12 weeks, starting in early Summer 2027 (hybrid work model)
• Driven personality with the ambition to learn the functions of corporate risk management
• Experience with other data manipulation tools
