Job Description

Join Plaid's Corporate Finance team as a Financial Analyst. In this role, you will lead company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, delivering strategic insights to internal and external stakeholders. You will align financial goals with business objectives to support informed decision-making at the senior leadership and executive levels. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive health benefits, and various lifestyle perks.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience building or maintaining financial models. You care about accuracy and enjoy understanding the business drivers behind the numbers
  • Clear communication and a collaborative approach, with the ability to explain findings, ask thoughtful questions, and build relationships with business partners
  • An “act like an owner” mindset: you take initiative, follow through on commitments, and ask for guidance when needed. You’re eager to learn and take on more responsibility
  • Curiosity about AI, automation, and process improvements, with an interest in developing systems skills. Familiarity with Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar FP&A tools is a plus
  • 3+ years of relevant FP&A experience, ideally in Corporate Finance, G&A support, or a broader FP&A role
  • A solid foundation in core FP&A activities, including month-end close, reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting, with exposure to annual planning and a working knowledge of accounting principles
  • You enjoy digging into the numbers, understanding business drivers, and turning your findings into clear insights that help inform decisions
  • You like improving how work gets done, whether that means simplifying a process, automating a recurring task, or making an analysis more useful
  • You’re excited to develop your systems skills in Pigment, our FP&A platform, and partner with our systems lead to build models, dashboards, and workflows
  • You’re energized by stretching beyond your day-to-day responsibilities, being scrappy, and taking on new challenges that help you learn and grow
  • You value working closely with Finance, Accounting, and business teams, building relationships and learning from their perspectives
  • You enjoy a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you can learn quickly and gain experience across multiple areas
  • We recognize that strong qualifications can come from both prior work experiences and lived experiences. We encourage you to apply to a role even if your experience doesn't fully match the job description. We are always looking for team members that will bring something unique to Plaid!
