BS/MS of Software Engineering (Commercialization, 2027 Summer Intern)

You'll work on backend infrastructure stability and reliability, optimize the robotaxi marketplace, and design and develop backend and infrastructure for ride-hailing businesses and AV fleet management. • Contribuir a la estabilidad y confiabilidad de la infraestructura backend, así como al desarrollo de características en aplicaciones como la respuesta a eventos o el seguimiento del mantenimiento de vehículos.
• Optimizar el mercado de robotaxis para equilibrar la oferta y la demanda de los servicios de robotaxis de Waymo, y diseñar y desarrollar la infraestructura que respalde varios negocios de transporte.
• Diseñar y construir modelos de aprendizaje automático y optimización para predecir la ruta de los vehículos, la demanda futura, las sugerencias de destino de los pasajeros, la optimización del despacho de vehículos y la predicción del ETA.

• Progressing towards BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
• Interested in working in scaling commercial operations
• Excited about working on self-driving cars!
• Excellent communication skills - both technically with other engineers, and with non-technical stakeholders
• Interested in infrastructure work: building internal tools, frameworks, and libraries
• Experience in general distributed systems and backend development
• Experience programming in C++ and/or with writing robust, efficient code
