Business Development Representative

Join Evervault, a fast-growing startup in the fintech space, as a Business Development Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for signal-based prospecting, payments-led research, relevant outreach, cold calling, and building domain expertise in card payments. You will engage with technical buyers, build relationships in the fintech community, and work with partners to source warm introductions. Success in this role is measured by the number of qualified opportunities generated and becoming a subject matter expert in the card payments domain. • Identifying and tracking moments that create a need for card infrastructure, such as company expansions or compliance audits.
• Mapping target accounts' current payment stacks and pinpointing areas of pain, such as vendor lock-in or declining authorization rates.
• Engaging with key stakeholders through various outreach methods, including calls, emails, and LinkedIn, to discuss solutions that address their pain points.

• Genuine curiosity about connecting business’ payments problems to technical solutions
• Understanding of the pain points of companies processing a high volume of card transactions
• 1-2 years of BDR experience, preferably selling an API-based solution to technical personas
• Track record of research-heavy, personalized outreach over high-volume activities
