Software Engineer (Machine Interfaces)

• Develop software to interface with industrial machines, PLCs, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Create human-machine interfaces that enable technicians to control and monitor automation on industrial machines.
• Ensure seamless software integration of automated manufacturing systems into Hadrian factories.

• Demonstrated ability to make decisions with incomplete information and deliver complex systems on schedule
• Flexibility to travel up to 10% of the year as Hadrian scales across the country
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, or C#
• Strong ability and desire to work directly with hardware on the factory floor
• Experience developing software to interface with physical systems in a field such as manufacturing, industrial automation, or 3D printing
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Profinet)
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
• Electronics or embedded systems
• Low-level networking, TCP/IP, and socket programming
• Building systems for real-time, safety-critical, or hardware-integrated environments
• Hardware-in-the-loop testing or simulation systems
• A minimum of 4-6 years of software engineering experience
