Manager of Corporate Development

Join Mastercard as a Manager of Corporate Development, where you will play a key role in leading global M&A and investment activities. You will research industry trends, assess strategic fit for potential targets, create business cases and valuation models, and coordinate resources for deal execution. This position requires prior experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate development, as well as strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial concepts. The role is based in Purchase, NY and New York City.

• Research industry to identify investment and acquisition opportunities across geographies to support Mastercard’s growth strategy.
• Collaborate with global business units and regions to assess strategic fit of potential M&A targets and provide support for all phases of the acquisition process.
• Create business cases and valuation models for acquisitions and equity investments, and coordinate internal and external resources involved in deal execution.

• Detail oriented with excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Prior M&A, Investment Banking, Corporate Development or Transaction Advisory experience required
• Strong analytical skills including financial modeling, accounting and valuation experience required
• Knowledge of payments, technology, financial services or related areas a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree + MBA (preferred)
• Solid understanding of financial concepts such as DCF, NPV, IRR, etc
