Director of Corporate Development

Join Equinix, a global leader in data center and interconnection services, as the Director of Corporate Development. In this role, you will support the AMER investment strategy, partner cross-functionally on capital sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio prioritization. You will represent Corporate Development in formal presentations to the Investment Committee and senior management, build a regional view of capital deployment, and manage the execution of capital transactions. Strong collaboration skills, financial modeling expertise, and effective communication are essential for success in this position.

• Support Equinix’s AMER investment strategy by partnering cross-functionally on capital sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio prioritization.
• Represent Corporate Development in formal presentations to the Investment Committee and senior management on capital structuring, allocation, and prioritization decisions.
• Lead sourcing and evaluation of third-party capital partners to fund AMER expansion, in partnership with Treasury, Finance, and other relevant teams.

• Data center experience helpful but not required
• 10 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Principal Investing or Corporate Development, with direct experience sourcing or executing third-party capital transactions
• Demonstrated experience preparing and presenting investment recommendations to Investment Committees or equivalent governance bodies
