Job Description

Join Grow as a People Business Partner (Operations) and become a trusted partner to Supervisors and Managers across Operations. You will provide practical guidance, coaching, and support to create a high-performance environment. Your responsibilities will include coaching frontline leaders, navigating employee relations, driving performance and accountability, creating clarity and consistency, staying close to the business, running evergreen programs and special projects, supporting annual and quarterly planning, and using data to shape people decisions. Enjoy benefits such as a learning stipend, mental health breaks, unlimited PTO, remote office setup stipend, wellness stipend, and meals in the office.

  • Coaching frontline leaders to build confidence and capability, delivering clear feedback, setting expectations, and addressing issues early.
  • Leading employee relations matters, including performance concerns, policy and leaves questions, attendance issues, and other sensitive situations.
  • Guiding leaders through goal setting, performance improvement, recognition, and fair decision-making, helping teams maintain a high bar with high care.
  • You're a clear, adaptable communicator. You can simplify complex issues, write strong documentation, and tailor your approach for employees of differing levels and roles
  • You're a high-performance operator. You manage a dynamic portfolio of work, follow through reliably, and bring structure and momentum to ambiguous, complex situations
  • You're an experienced People Business Partner with experience supporting a multi-state, fast-paced workforce that includes both exempt and non-exempt employees. You have at least 5 years of experience in an HRBP or People Partner role with strong emphasis on supporting non-exempt populations; even better if you have firsthand experience working in a frontline or customer-facing operational role, giving you a practical understanding of the day-to-day realities facing the teams you’ll support
  • You're analytical and systems-minded. You use data and business context to identify trends and translate recurring challenges into practical, scalable solutions
  • You know how to develop first time managers, especially those on the frontlines. You know how to meet newer leaders where they are, ask the right questions, give direct feedback with care, and build credibility quickly
  • You bring excellent judgment. You can balance empathy, risk, and business needs; handle sensitive information with discretion; and know when to act independently versus pull in the right partners
  • You're willing to roll up your sleeves. You enjoy being close to the day-to-day work, diving into the details, and working alongside earlier career leaders to move issues forward. You use that context to make better decisions, identify patterns, and improve how the organization operates
  • Research shows that some groups hesitate to apply unless they meet every qualification. If you’re excited about this role but don’t check every box, we encourage you to apply. At Grow, we value diverse experiences, transferable skills, and the unique strengths each person brings
