Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract with Option to Hire)

Join VGS as a Senior Technical Recruiter on a 6-12 month contract with the potential for full-time conversion. In this role, you will own the full-cycle recruiting process for multiple technical roles, partner closely with engineering leaders and hiring managers, and proactively source and engage highly qualified passive technical talent. You will also manage multiple searches and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment, create a strong candidate experience, and use recruiting data to identify challenges and adjust search strategies.

• Own full-cycle recruiting across multiple technical roles, from kickoff and sourcing through offer and close.
• Partner closely with Engineering leaders and hiring managers to define profiles, develop recruiting strategies, and keep searches moving.
• Proactively source and engage highly qualified passive technical talent, conduct recruiter screens, and effectively assess both technical alignment and overall fit.

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup, high-growth technology company, or similarly dynamic environment is required
• Strong hiring manager partnership and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable independently managing multiple searches at different stages
• Ability to move quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and operate with limited oversight
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical/engineering hiring
• Excellent communication, organization, and candidate management skills
• Strong sourcing skills and demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive technical talent
• Proven experience recruiting for roles such as Software Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Platform Engineering, or other highly technical positions
• Experience with tokenization, payment processing, or security products
• A knack for out-of-the-box thinking that thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
• BA/BS degree
• Experience with Lever is highly preferred
