Member of Tehnical Staff (Senior QA Web)

Join our Web QA team as a Senior Web QA Engineer. In this role, you will test our web product hands-on, work closely with engineers to identify and resolve issues, and ensure a consistent user experience across all platforms. You will also create and maintain test documentation, analyze user-reported issues, and fix small, low-risk issues independently. Candidates should have 5+ years of QA experience, strong communication skills, and experience with integration and end-to-end testing.

• Test the web product hands-on and work closely with engineers to find, report, and help resolve issues early.
• Run end-to-end integration testing with other Perplexity products, validating shared flows, accounts, and features.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and test plans, keeping them current as the product changes.

• 5+ years of experience in QA, with strong hands-on experience testing web applications
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineering, product, and other QA teams
• Experience with integration and end-to-end testing across multiple connected products or services
• Proactive use of AI coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code) to navigate the codebase, debug issues, and ship small fixes independently
• Solid experience with web testing, including cross-browser and responsive testing, debugging with browser DevTools (console, network, performance), and validating functionality across environments and builds
