Senior Payroll Analyst

Join our growing Accounting team as a Senior Payroll Analyst. In this role, you will work closely with the Sr Payroll Manager and cross-functional partners to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing. You will support key workflows, contribute to high-impact projects, and have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in payroll. Responsibilities include processing payroll, executing payroll changes, supporting payroll tax compliance, auditing 401(k) deferrals, assisting with payroll audits, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

• Process semi-monthly and biweekly payroll across multiple states and entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support and help lead key workflows such as tax registrations, payroll reconciliations, and reporting, and contribute to high-impact projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency, support the implementation of best practices, and collaborate with the Sr. Payroll Manager on recommendations.

• Experience with payroll systems such as UKG is a plus
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., functions, pivot tables, macros)
• Strong organizational, problem solving skills, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Prior experience processing payroll across multiple entities and jurisdictions
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field (preferred)
• Ability to cultivate effective working relationships (both remotely and in-person) and communicate cross-functionally across all levels of management
• 5 + years of hands-on-payroll experience, ideally in a high-growth or complex environment
• Experience with end-to-end payroll and timekeeping processes, resolving related issues, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations
