Accountant

Join our fast-growing security company as a US Accountant. You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting for our US entity, running the monthly and quarterly close, managing intercompany transactions, and owning US payables and receivables processes. You will also help build our accounting function, support IPO readiness, and work closely with our senior finance team. This is a remote-friendly position with flexible working hours.

• Run the monthly and quarterly close for the US entity, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Account for SaaS subscription revenue under ASC 606, including deferred revenue and contract review with the revenue team.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations with the Belgian parent company, and support US GAAP to IFRS reporting for group consolidation.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Clear written communication; you'll work daily with a team in Belgium
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, split across Big 4 audit and/or in-house roles
• Solid US GAAP knowledge and hands-on month-end close experience
• Public company experience: SEC registrant in-house, or auditing SEC registrants
• Experience in tech or SaaS, including subscription revenue under ASC 606
• Working knowledge of SOX controls and documentation
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working in an ERP
• CPA, or working toward it
• IPO readiness or first-year SOX experience
• Multi-entity accounting with a foreign parent, intercompany and FX
• Exposure to IFRS
• Cybersecurity or developer-tools industry background
• ERP implementation experience (e.g. NetSuite) and billing tools such as Stripe
