PRN Licensed Therapist - Behavioral Hospital

We are seeking a PRN Licensed Therapist to join our clinical team.

What You'll Do

As a Licensed Therapist, you will play a vital role in the interdisciplinary treatment team by providing therapeutic services and supporting patients throughout their treatment experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Maintain communication with families, guardians, and community partners regarding patient progress and discharge planning.
• Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare services to promote successful transitions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other treatment team members.
• Document assessments, treatment interventions, and patient progress in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.
• Connect patients and families with appropriate community resources and support services.

Qualifications

Required Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.

Current unrestricted Texas licensure

• LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Handle With Care (HWC) certification (obtained when hired).
• Preferred One (1) year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health setting.
• Experience working with children and adolescents.
• Strong crisis intervention, assessment, and communication skills.

Schedule

PRN (as needed) Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed. Additional hours may be available based on census and departmental needs. Location Arlington, Texas Why Join Perimeter?
