Building Service Worker

Position Summary

This position is located at the UIC Health Sciences campus - Rockford. The Building Service Worker performs all necessary custodial work to keep floors, walls, windows, furniture, and bathrooms in a clean, sanitary condition and to maintain housekeeping standards.

Duties

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all floor surfaces consisting of carpet and various hard surface floors.
• Clean and maintain toilet rooms.
• Pick up trash including hazardous materials.
• Clean interior finishes and building components, i.e., walls, windows, blinds, light fixtures, etc. Clean exterior entryways.
• Clean furniture.
• Provide services to facility users by moving furniture and setting up for meetings and special events.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
