Social Media Intern

Join Nuro, a leading robotics company, as a Social Media Intern. In this hands-on role, you'll create and publish engaging content across various social platforms, support community management, and analyze performance metrics. The ideal candidate is digitally fluent, understands internet culture, and can translate technical concepts into accessible stories. This is a full-time, three-month internship with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

• A portfolio or examples of relevant social, video, writing, design, or other creative work
• Comfort using social analytics and performance data to inform creative decisions
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and feedback cycles
• Sound judgment when working with public-facing content
• Ability to apply brand guidelines consistently and make sound creative decisions with minimal oversight
• Demonstrated experience in social media, content creation, design, online culture, and emerging platforms
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, X, and other social platforms
• Experience with video editing and design tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Express, Canva, or similar platforms
• 1-2 years of experience creating social content through internships, student organizations, campus publications, personal projects, creator accounts, or similar work
• Experience with video production, photography, graphic design, motion graphics, or other visual storytelling formats
• Ability to make technical concepts, research, and complex ideas clear and accessible without oversimplifying them
• Strong understanding of social trends, memes, creators, platform conventions, and emerging formats
• Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt voice and format for different platforms and audiences
• Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a program in marketing, communications, journalism, media, advertising, business, design, or a related field
• Strong design instincts and a clear point of view on composition, typography, visual hierarchy, and what makes content feel polished
• Resourceful: You can move an idea forward with limited information or resources
• Data-informed: You use performance insights to learn, iterate, and improve
• Audience-minded: You understand who a piece of content is for and why they should care
