Electrical Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

Join Muon, a fast-growing startup in the aerospace industry, as an Electrical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to own a project from start to finish, collaborate with a dynamic team, and learn from experienced aerospace professionals. You will contribute to the hardware or firmware design for spacecraft or payload development, assist in test campaigns, and engage in testing and measurement activities in the lab.

• Participer à la conception et au développement de l'électronique pour les engins spatiaux, y compris les batteries et l'ordinateur de vol.

• Basic programming skills in C/C++ and/or python
• Currently a Senior pursuing an EE degree with plans to enroll directly into an EE graduate program (Master's/Ph.D.) following graduation
• Familiarity with Altium, KiCAD or other schematic capture and layout software
• Currently enrolled as a Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s EE degree
• Prior experience designing, testing, and debugging PCBAs
• Experience with Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, and DMMs
• Previous experience on technical project teams (i.e. Rocket club, formula SAE, solar car, etc.)
• Previous internship or co-op experience
• Experience with Component Test Racks, Hardware-in-the-loop testing (HIL or HITL), wire harness design and building
• Experience testing and characterizing battery cells or packs
• Ability to solder/reflow PCBAs and use hand tools
