Finance & Strategy Analyst (Product)

Join Coinbase as a Finance & Strategy Analyst in the Product Finance FP&A team. You will own the financial story behind key revenue lines, including Consumer Trading, Developer, and Stablecoin products. Your responsibilities will include forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic insights, as well as building and maintaining financial models. You will also lead the month-end close process and present financial analysis during business reviews. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance, technical proficiency in advanced Excel and SQL, and a track record of identifying financial trends or risks.

• Ownership of financial forecasting and variance analysis for Consumer Trading revenue, ensuring accuracy and alignment with actuals.
• Management of end-to-end financial deliverables for Developer and Stablecoin products, including revenue forecasting and OpEx budget tracking.
• Building and maintaining driver-based financial models that support analysis across Trading, Developer, and Stablecoin revenue and expense lines.

• Technical proficiency in advanced Excel and SQL for data analysis, with exposure to planning tools such as Anaplan, NetSuite, or Adaptive Insights
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders (e.g., Product, Engineering, Operations) to validate assumptions, gather inputs, and present financial analysis
• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a related analytical role, with demonstrated ability to build driver-based revenue and expense models independently
• Track record of independently identifying financial trends or risks and escalating insights to leadership without being prompted
• Proven accuracy in financial close processes, variance analysis, or reconciliation workflows
