Senior Software Engineer (Institutional Financing)

Join our Institutional Financing team as a Senior Software Engineer. You'll design, build, and scale systems that manage billions of dollars in loans. You'll own critical backend services, drive engineering excellence, and partner with various teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You should have 5+ years of backend software engineering experience and a proven track record in designing and building service-oriented architectures.

• Design, build, and scale systems that manage billions of dollars in loans across various financing areas.
• Own the design and delivery of new financing products and features, ensuring correctness and safety across high-value lending operations.
• Drive engineering excellence by improving developer tooling, testing infrastructure, monitoring, and operational reliability across financing systems.

• Familiarity with relational data stores, gRPC/Protobuf, and observability tooling in a cloud-native environment
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, lead technical design reviews, and raise the bar on code quality across a team
• Proven track record designing, building, and scaling service-oriented architectures in Go, Java, or a comparable backend language
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience, with production ownership of services handling high-reliability or financial workloads
• Experience building and operating distributed systems where correctness, availability, and data integrity are critical
