Engineer - Of Watch

Join our team as an Engineer on a riverboat. You will be responsible for completing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, maintaining a continuous power supply, making periodic rounds to verify machinery and equipment functionality, and responding to maintenance calls. You will also maintain an engine room watch log, fulfill emergency response duties, and coordinate engineering tasks with the Captain-Of-The-Watch. This position requires knowledge of computers, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work in various heights and depths in the riverboat environment.

• Completing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and other work assigned by the EIC.
• Maintaining a continuous power supply to the riverboat through either the use of shore power or diesel generator sets.
• Making periodic rounds of the riverboat to verify that machinery and equipment are functioning properly.
