Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst

Join CB Insights, a leading market intelligence platform, as a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing invoices, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations and identify opportunities for process improvements. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in accounts receivable, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Process and maintain customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, and monitor accounts receivable aging reports.
• Initiate collection efforts through calls, emails, and written correspondence with customers, and reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within AR operations, and participate in the implementation of new processes and tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in account reconciliation, data entry, and record-keeping
• Professional judgment, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive financial information
• 4+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role
• Customer service experience in a B2B environment
• Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting platforms (Sage Intacct, Maxio, Salesforce, Gong)
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
• Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and their application to AR processes
• Certification in accounting or a finance-related field
• Experience with automation tools and workflow optimization
• Process improvement mindset with the initiative to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions
