Full-Stack Software Engineer

Join Versana, a leading company in the financial technology sector, as a Full Stack Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our real-time syndicated loan platform, working closely with product and UX teams to address client needs. You will write clean, maintainable code, optimize applications for performance and scalability, and help set up the technical foundation and culture for the Application Development squad. • Develop and own front and back-end applications for the real-time syndicated loan platform, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to address client needs, delivering high-impact and high-visibility solutions that enhance the user experience.
• Build test automation across the full stack of the software, optimize applications for performance and scalability, and contribute to the development and maintenance of the design system.

• Experience working with Databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Familiarity with design systems (UI components, animations/transitions, accessibility)
• Exposure to third-party libraries (AG grid, D3 etc.)
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new things
• History of building enterprise application software within financial domain
• BS or BA in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• 5+ years of full stack development experience (backend with Java/Spring Boot, front-end with React/Angular (TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Ability to partner with multi-functional teams and pivot quickly
• Knowledge of Syndicated Loans or Leveraged Finance

• Adeptness at using build and development tools (Git, Maven/Gradle, Artifactory)
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of application architecture and performance optimization
• End-to-end testing knowledge (Cypress/Selenium/Cucumber etc.)
• Experience with public cloud computing
