• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions for the Payroll product.
• Participate in architectural discussions and influence the technical roadmap, advocating for best coding practices.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, acting as a force multiplier in improving engineering productivity.

• 8+ years of back-end experience in Java, Kotlin, or other object-oriented languages
• Proficient with traditional databases and alternative data stores
• Proficient with modern web standards and technologies (e.g. React, TypeScript, REST, GraphQL)
• Experience delivering high-quality, reliable services to production
• Experience with distributed systems, enterprise messaging systems, and/or microservices
• Passionate about technology and learning new things
• Proven track record of leading technically complex, multi-team projects
• Excellent cross-team communication skills on complex technical topics
