Manager of Solutions Architecture (Pre-Sales)

Join MongoDB as the Manager of Solutions Architecture (Pre-Sales). In this role, you will lead a highly motivated Pre-Sales Solutions Architecture team, partner with the sales team to define and execute sales initiatives, and drive business growth. You will also recruit, retain, and develop top pre-sales talent, foster strong relationships with customers, and coach the team to exceed bookings objectives. A background in the database industry and software development is a plus.

• Recruit, retain, and develop top pre-sales talent across multiple countries, ensuring a highly motivated and skilled team.
• Partner closely with sales counterparts to define, improve, and execute sales initiatives in the enterprise market, driving revenue growth.
• Foster strong and effective relationships with customers, resulting in growth opportunities, and coach the team to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives.

• 4+ years of pre-sales experience, with strong commercial skills
• Database industry background a plus
• Focused – you are skilled in managing time and resources and have a sound approach to technically qualifying opportunities
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Intelligent – you possess an aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility
• 3+ years Management experience, ideally in pre-sales, distributed team management preferred
• The ability to travel up to 30%
• Results oriented, with a track record of overachievement (Circle of Excellence, Leader of the Year, etc.)
• Driven – you possess a strong desire to be successful
• Software development background a plus
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
