Group Lead Product Manager (Patient Data Platform)

As the Group Lead Product Manager for the Patient Data Platform, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare financial workflows. You will own the strategy and execution of the Patient Data Platform, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, define product requirements, and establish data governance standards. • End-to-end ownership of the Patient Data Platform, from strategy through execution, including identifying gaps in data capabilities and driving delivery.
• Defining and evolving Cedar's normalized data across providers, driving data governance standards, and establishing data quality frameworks.
• Owning the multi-quarter roadmap for the Patient Data Platform, sequencing foundational investments against provider onboarding timelines and product launch dependencies.

• You bring deep expertise in how health systems generate and exchange clinical and financial data: data feeds, real-time integrations, HL7 messages from EHR systems like Epic, athena, and Cerner, and will apply that knowledge to shape how downstream products and AI-powered agents consume that data to drive patient and operator experiences
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Track record of shipping products that deliver measurable results — ideally platform products that unblock multiple downstream product teams
• Experience working with senior stakeholders at large enterprises
• 8+ years of experience in product management, co-founder, or related technical role
• Strong knowledge of data exchanges and integration patterns for major EHR players (e.g., Epic, athena, Cerner)
• At least 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products that manage data pipelines, data models, or integration platforms
• Technical background (CS degree, former engineer, or deep comfort reading system design docs and data model ERDs)
• Healthcare RCM knowledge - understanding of guarantors, patient responsibility, insurance adjudication, EOBs, and the billing lifecycle
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks and driving alignment across engineering, operations, and client stakeholders
• Experience leading platform migrations — moving product functionality from legacy systems to modern service-oriented architectures while maintaining production reliability
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, gRPC) and how data flows through ETL/ELT pipelines
• Familiarity with HIPAA data isolation requirements in multi-tenant healthcare platforms
