Senior Software Engineer (Developer Infrastructure)

Join Sentry, a leading software performance monitoring platform, as a Senior Software Engineer on the Developer Infrastructure team. In this role, you will build and maintain the systems that Sentry engineers use to develop, test, and ship software. You will work on improving CI/CD processes, deployment reliability, and development environments. • Experience improving CI/CD systems, including diagnosing performance or reliability problems
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as GCP or AWS
• Experience using Docker and container orchestration in production
• Experience working across engineering teams to build agreement on tools, standards, or workflow changes
• Strong proficiency in Python
• 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent experience building developer tools and infrastructure
• Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical tradeoffs and documenting how systems work
• A track record of building or significantly improving developer tooling or infrastructure used by engineering teams
• Experience leading complex technical projects through design, implementation, and rollout
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code tools
