Test Automation Engineer

Join our team as a junior/early-career Test Automation Engineer. In this role, you will support our core engineering teams and work in a multi-disciplinary environment to build robust testing infrastructure for our systems. You will be responsible for building and maintaining hardware and software hybrid simulators, developing automation for configuration, deployment, and testing within a Continuous Integration (CI) environment, and collaborating on debugging and troubleshooting complex hardware-software integration issues. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant engineering work experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and proficiency in CI/CD automation toolchains, virtualization and containers, and Python.

• You have strong debugging skills, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and a drive to develop new capabilities
• 2-5 years of relevant engineering work experience
• Comfortable working and debugging in both Windows and Linux environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS), Computer Engineering (CE), Electrical Engineering (EE), or a related field
• Proficiency in CI/CD automation toolchains (GitHub, Jenkins, Buildkite), virtualization and containers (Docker, Kubernetes) across Windows and Linux environments
• Familiarity with real-time, distributed communication middleware (e.g., DDS standards, ROS 2, RTI Connext)
• Willingness to take ownership and develop new capabilities from the ground up
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in Python and general scripting languages, experience in C++
• Solid understanding of communication protocols (serial, CAN, Ethernet)
